The certification and control process determines the ways of control and conformities of children’s playgrounds equipment and children’s play areas, in accordance with the requirements of standards, safety standards and current legislation that provide the mandatory application.

EUROCERT performs the following checks:

Initial inspection of the area and design of children’s playgrounds and children’s play areas and the control of materials / equipment of them. Also performs the tests of and inspection equipment and floors of toys in accordance with the required standards.
Periodic inspection of existing children’s playgrounds / children’s play areas to verify compliance with the conditions of safety and health. Periodic inspections are mandatory every two years for children’s playgrounds and every year for children’s play areas.

The reference checks / certifications cover the mandatory implementation of existing legislation for the safe operation and provide to the children guaranteed conditions of health and safety.
