As part of the EU’s increased climate ambitions, the Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) has been expanded through Directive (EU) 2023/959 to cover greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from buildings, road transport, and additional sectors, commonly referred to as ETS2. Starting from 2025, fuel suppliers will have to monitor and report emissions, while full compliance with allowance surrender obligations starts in 2027. Transparent, accurate, and verified emissions reporting will be critical for meeting legal
requirements and building trust with stakeholders.
As an independent accredited certification body, we offer verification services for ETS2 reporting obligations in accordance with Directive (EU) 2023/959.
Our services include:
- Verification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports related to fuels supplied for use in buildings and road transport
- Validation of emissions data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Compliance support for fuel suppliers and other obligated entities under ETS2
Our accredited verification services ensure your organization’s emissions data and reporting processes meet the highest standards, build stakeholder confidence, and demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.
