SEPTONA: EUROCERT Verifies Environmental Claims on Reduced Plastic Use in Refill Packaging

As part of its ongoing commitment to responsible growth and sustainable innovation, SEPTONA has proceeded with the independent verification of the environmental claims regarding the reduced use of plastic in the refill packaging of selected product lines.

The verification was carried out by EUROCERT, an independent accredited Verification Body, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard EN ISO 14021:2016, which relates to self-declared environmental claims (Type II Environmental Labelling).

Within the scope of the verification process, the following environmental claims made by SEPTONA were verified:

· SEPTONA Kids Shampoo & Bath Calm n' Care for Boys & Girls Refill 1000 ml: uses 70% less plastic per ml of product compared to the SEPTONA Kids Shampoo & Bath Calm n' Care for Boys & Girls 750 ml bottle.

· SEPTONA Dermasoft Hand Wash Refill 1000 ml (Cotton & Milk Protein, Honey & Ginger, Almond & Tea Rose, Pistachio & Sandalwood): uses 80% less plastic per ml of product compared to the SEPTONA Dermasoft Hand Wash 400 ml pump bottle.

· SEPTONA Baby Shampoo & Bath Calm n' Care Refill 1000 ml: uses 80% less plastic per ml of product compared to the SEPTONA Calm n' Care Gentle Shampoo & Bath with Hypericum & Aloe Vera 500 ml bottle.

During the verification process, the technical characteristics of the packaging, the calculations of the relevant indicators, as well as the systems and procedures supporting these claims were evaluated. EUROCERT confirmed that the claims are clear, accurate, substantiated and not misleading, in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO 14021:2016.

This verification represents another important step in SEPTONA's strategy to develop products with a reduced environmental footprint and to provide reliable

and transparent environmental information to consumers and other interested parties.

SEPTONA continues to invest in solutions that contribute to reducing the consumption of raw materials, while further enhancing the credibility of the environmental information accompanying its products through independent verification.
